Owner and Manager, Richard joined Lane in 1998 and has been involved in the landscape industry for over 25 years. Richard has a BS degree in Ornamental Horticulture from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. In the past he has worked for a grounds maintenance crew, owned a small landscape and grounds maintenance company (now inactive), taught high school and adult vocational landscape classes and has been a landscape job cost estimator.

Troy’s background is primarily in the sheet metal industry. After completing the DeAnza- NASA/Ames Fabrication Internship he immediately began to apply it in industry especially in the areas of QC, Design and Laser/Water jet cutting machines. After the steep downturn in manufacturing in Santa Clara valley, he sought a new career path. In the two years that he has worked at Lane, he has learned a great deal from Richard about outdoor lighting. He is confident that he can field questions and help provide solutions for the majority of customers.
